				Diamonds may be bought and sold with or without a Certificate or Grading Report. Many diamonds sold in the marketplace today are graded by independent, industry recognized organizations. These organizations provide certifications showing the carat weight, cut, color and clarity of the diamond as well as many other important characteristics. The certification may contain a map of the internal characteristics of the diamond. Some diamonds are laser inscribed with their individual certification number. Certifications enable you to purchase a diamond with confidence.
